Being a single girl in Southern California can have its ups and downs. There have been plenty of times where I crashed a date and was the third wheel so I could get out of the house, and plenty of days I stayed home watching a movie, or worked out at the gym on a Saturday night. These are all fine things to do, but I was getting a little bored and I decided I needed to make my own fun and not wait around for someone to make my life more interesting. I have really made this a priority this year and I have discovered some things that I now love to do with friends or by myself and make new friends. My life is fuller because I decided to get out there and try new things and not be worried I would be terrible or fail. I decided to share some of the things I have come across and share them in a series called "How to Be Awesome." This weekend was no exception and it was a fun sports filled weekend.
